Kia Toa RFC is one of the biggest and strongest Clubs in the Manawatu with teams in virtually every grade. The 2009 season was hugely successful with the Kia Toa senior 1 team winning the Hankins Shield for the second year running. They in training, building towards a "three peat" in 2010. There will be six Senior Level rugby teams playing in the 2010 season. We have a strong club representation in the junior rugby grades fielding twelve teams in 2009. Netball has a significant role with in the club, fielding 8 teams in the 2009 competition. Neball trials are being contested on Sunday 21st February.
Kia Toa RFC is more than just another Rugby Club; we offer sports facilities to Rugby, Netball, Golden Oldies Rugby & Netball and the opportunity to join many other sports codes through the Awapuni Hotel.
We welcome prospective Rugby and Netball players from the Manawatu and beyond to join the best Club in the Manawatu.
