In 2009, Kia Toa Netball has 8 teams in the competition ranging from Premier 2 through to the Senior B2 Grade.
A1 Team
This year our A1 team are playing in Premier 2. They are a committed bunch of girls who train hard and play hard. There is a lot of talent and experience in our A1 team.
A2 Team
Our A2 team is playing in Premier 3 in 2008. They help out the A1 team when they are short of players and are another bunch of committed girls who train hard and play hard.
A3 Team aka Chasers
The Chasers have been together for a few years now, with generally the same players. They are in the Senior A1 Grade. They are a social team, although very competitive!
Masters
Another of our long serving social, but extremely competitive teams. Most of the girls have been together for a few years. They are in the Senior A2 grade.
B1 Team
The Social 1 team are in the Senior B1 grade. They are a group of mothers who got together to play this year. A number of them are also wives of Kia Toa Rugby players.
B2 Team aka Classix
The B2’s are a new team to the club this year. They came as a team of girls who have played together in the past for another club. They are placed in the Senior A3 grade and are doing well.
Social
The Social 2 team are in the Senior B2 grade. These girls are from Bulls and surrounding areas who have come to play as part of Kia Toa this year.
B3 Team
The A3’s are a new team to the club this year. They came as a team of girls who know each other through work etc. They are placed in the Senior A3 grade and are doing well.
Training Times
The training times for all teams are Thursday nights, 6-7.30pm
